- Adviser and mufti to a number of institutions across the Muslim world.
- Scholarly reviewer and editor (muhaqqiq) of books for a number of publishing houses.
- Imam, khatib and lecturer, formerly in Egypt, Malaysia and Indonesia, and currently in the United Kingdom.

- Al-Azhar graduate and researcher specialising in Qur'anic Sciences, Qira'at, Tafsir and Islamic jurisprudence.
- Holds advanced ijazahs in the Ten Qira'at with distinguished chains of transmission.
- Studies and ijazahs in Fiqh and Hadith, with extensive study and memorisation of classical Islamic texts.
- Doctoral researcher in Qur'anic Studies and author of several internationally peer-reviewed papers, including research published in Scopus-indexed journals.
- Contributor to scholarly and advisory work in Islamic jurisprudence, halal matters and contemporary Muslim issues.
- Over two decades of experience as an Imam, khatib, lecturer and Qur'an teacher, serving Muslim communities in several countries.
